The quality of the workmanship was excellent, with great attention to detail, and everything was completed efficiently and left clean and tidy.

Tom fitted new internal doors for me. He did a fantastic job. Doors look beautiful. Not one bit of mess to clear up either! Would highly recommend. I've already given him a list of more jobs to price!

Just had Tom put in a new bath panel for us following an emergency plumber breaking the tiles following a leak under the bath. His service was fantastic, came out to quote for the job when he said he would and then purchased everything we needed. His workmanship is first class and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a joiner.

Having been after a loft ladder for a while, came across Tommy (McKee Joinery) by chance on Facebook. From first contact and visit through to quoting it was a very easy process. We had already purchased a ladder kit (let down by previous tradesman). Tommy agreed to fit the kit we had and carried out the fitting and finishing very professionally. Would happily recommend McKee Joinery and will use again without hesitation.

Tom, hands down, is the most professional tradesman I have ever dealt with. Having a rental property and living hundreds of miles away it is always difficult to find someone locally who you can trust who will not over charge and under deliver. He has done a fantastic job for me, kept me updated with photos and explained all work involved in a detailed email. Tam has done quite a lot of work for us the last wee while — built a media wall, hung doors, new skirting and flooring etc. Every job is done to a high standard, can't fault him. Will always recommend him to others. Will get him back shortly for next part.

Tom visited my house today with the intention of replacing a door frame and rehanging a bathroom door. From the initial visit, he explained what was required and the best way forward. He was punctual, courteous, and neat and tidy. The end result was excellent, and his attention to detail was exactly what was required. I have no hesitation in recommending Tom and I will definitely be a repeat customer. He is a credit to his profession.

Tom did a great job fixing some windows for us that hadn't been sealed properly by the original window fitter, who had actually come back a few times to fix with no joy. Tom realised the problem straight away and fixed it for us for a decent price and left a good finish again around the windows — wouldn't know anyone had been at them. Good work, reliable and at a reasonable price. Will use for any joinery work in future.

I recently hired McKee Joinery in Irvine, North Ayrshire, and I couldn't be happier with the work Tom carried out. He removed an old, rotted gallows bracket that was no longer safely supporting the canopy at the front of my house and made the entire structure safe with proper structural support. Tom then manufactured, treated, and installed a brand-new gallows bracket to a very high standard. What really stood out was his attention to detail and care — especially as we had recently had our entire roofline re-PVC'd. He took great care not to damage any of the existing work.

Tom did an excellent job and I couldn't be happier with the service he provided. From the very beginning, he was extremely professional, honest, and genuinely kind. He took the time to explain everything clearly, worked efficiently, and paid great attention to detail throughout the job. It's not always easy to find someone you can fully trust with work in your home, but Tom made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Tom has completed 2 jobs for us, both to a very high standard. Firstly he refitted our walk-in wardrobe and then he laid flooring for us in our kitchen/dining and living room.
