Every door in our collection is supplied and fitted by McKee Joinery. Doors are made in standard imperial and metric sizes – we measure every opening and confirm the right size on your quote. Every door range is named after a town or village in Ayrshire, from Irvine and Troon to Largs, Ayr and Kilwinning.

Door collection – common questions
Do you supply the doors, or do I need to buy them?
We supply and fit. Every door in our collection is hung by us with a matching latch, hinges and the handles you choose. If you have already bought your own doors, we are happy to fit those too.
Are the oak doors solid oak?
No – they are real oak veneer on a solid engineered core. You get genuine oak grain on the surface, and the engineered core helps the door stay straight and stable in a centrally heated home. The core type for every door is shown in our selection guide.
What is the difference between unfinished and pre-finished?
Unfinished oak and primed white doors are ready for oiling, varnishing or painting by your decorator. Pre-finished doors are lacquered or painted in the factory and arrive ready to hang. If a primed or pre-finished door needs trimmed or planed to fit, the cut edges need a light touch-up – we can take care of that for a small additional charge, which we confirm before any work begins.
Why are there no prices on the website?
Every home is different – the sizes of your openings, the condition of the frames, how many doors you need and the handles you pick all affect the price. We measure up and give you a clear written quote for the doors, handles and fitting together.
How do I choose?
Browse the collection here or download the selection guide, note the codes of the doors and handles you like (for example D09 and H12), and send them to us with your enquiry. We will come out, measure every opening and confirm everything on your quote.
