A full house of internal doors for a home in Ayr: nine doors replaced in one go, along with all the associated ironmongery. The new doors are a cottage style design — vertical boards beneath a plain top rail — used throughout, so every room now reads as one scheme.
Fitted, adjusted and finished
Each door was fitted to its own opening, then adjusted and finished so the gaps are even, the doors hang square and everything closes cleanly. Where two doors sit side by side, as they do in the hallway, the heights and handle positions were lined through so the pair looks right together.
New ironmongery
New ironmongery was fitted to every door, completing the look. The result is a noticeable upgrade throughout the property — and the job was quoted, supplied and fitted within the timescale given to the customer.
